Fees and insurance
Self and Other therapists are in network with Premera, Lifewise, First Choice Health Network and Optum and bill these insurances directly.
For out of network billing a monthly statement can be provided that you can use to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider.
If you are planning to seek insurance reimbursement, you will want to call your provider prior to the start of therapy, and verify your in-network or out-of-network coverage information.
Free initial 20 minute consultation
Our initial consultation is provided free of charge. This time is intended to assess whether this type of therapy is a good fit for you or to make referrals to other healthcare professionals if needed.
Our therapists will also use this time to discuss fees, scheduling, confidentiality, and whatever other concerns you may have about the process of beginning therapy. You can set up an initial consultation by phone, by email or through the convenient secure client portal.
Standard Rate
Our current standard rate is $170 per individual session and $220 per couples session.
Sliding Scale
In an effort to support all of those who wish to work for personal change, Self and Other therapists reserve a number of sliding-scale spaces. If you feel like you would benefit from working with one of our therapists but are currently unable to pay the standard rate, please inquire about this sliding scale.
Forms of Payment
Most of our clients choose to pay for their services using health savings accounts or credit and debit cards. A valid HSA, credit, or debit card number is required to book an appointment.
