Blue Cross Blue Shield
Our therapists at Self and Other are in network with some Blue Cross Blue Shield plans and can bill those plans directly when your benefits allow.
Not one company, but a larger network
Blue Cross Blue Shield is not a single insurance company. It is a national system of independent, locally operated companies, which is why a Blue Cross Blue Shield card may actually be administered by Premera, Anthem, or another regional BCBS company.
If the local plan name is still unclear
Many people know they have a Blue Cross Blue Shield plan before they know which local company handles it. That is especially common after a move, during a job transition, or when coverage is tied to an employer in another state.
Care in Seattle and throughout Washington
Self and Other offers in-person therapy at our Eastlake office in Seattle and online therapy throughout Washington State. Before booking, it helps to check the exact carrier name on your card, your behavioral health network, and whether your specific BCBS plan includes in-network outpatient mental health coverage. If not, we can provide a monthly superbill for possible reimbursement.
